Wife Kathy and I went out this evening Water temp was 63 deg and stage is below normal. We anchored in 14 ft of water above a wing dam loaded with wood. Bait 3 poles with live bluegill and one pole with a bluegill head.
After a short wait the pole with the head started to get a bite pecking away like a channel cat. The clicker took a short burst then stopped. I picked up the rod and when the line tightened I set the hook. I said to Kathy it feels like a good one and it was. After a good fight we landed this 39 inch 32 lb flathead. We had two other on later on but lost them to snags.
