It was a GREAT Labor Day

    Got a short notice invite to go out on Monday. The FM was headed to Winona to fish with his brother so I jumped at a day of cattin’

    Here are the pics of the better fish not to mention my first fish caught on my Custom made Pink Channel Cat rod. Team Catfish Secret Seven was definitely the bait of choice for the day. There will absolutely be a container of this in my boat next summer..

    You guys.

    It was a beautiful day to be on the water and the action was consistent. For a while I didn’t think that pink rod was ever going to hook up.

    Our left rod kept getting hit using S7 and the other rods with crawlers and cut bait were, well slow. So we changed up and put S7 on Mary’s rod…nothing. Then I switched positions and put the pink rod on the left side…nothing. It was getting to the point where I thought her pink no roll sinker was scaring the fish away!

    Once she hooked one fish using it, the rest didn’t seem to take too long. Just needed to be broke in I guess.

    I was really hoping we could get Jeff out there so he could experience what a fighting fish feels like on a rod that he build, but there will be another time…if you let him use it.

    Thanks to all!! Ya know guys BK ISN’T that bad of a guy!! If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be nearly as interested in the sport as I have become. Don’t get me wrong I have always loved to fish, but I am the type that just loves to throw out the bait and relax waiting for the bite. I want to catch fish but not really have to WORK to get them.With the things I have learned from BK there is not nearly the wait for the bite as there used to be.

    You know how to ruin a guys day…that whole shower thing I mean.

    Being out in the sun all day on Sunday was a shock to my system! My skin is falling off! Haven’t had that happen for years!
