Me and “Kat Man Roo” spent the night on P2 last night, I’ll need to restock my bully supply, flats were biting! Lost a couple in the wood, first of which felt rather large and mad. This girl made it to the boat, a PB for Eric. Congrats Kat Man Roo!

They’ve been biting pretty good on pool 2 the last few weeks, we haven’t had a day with less then 4 flats in the boat.
Problem is that we haven’t been able to find anything bigger then 20 lbs.
Headin down to the Minnesota enough though so hopefully we can put some fat girls in the boat.

Congrats to your buddy on the pb

And just a year or so ago Eric thought that “flatheads” were a positive personal attribute in potential mates. Now he does stuff such as “well I may as well get that new cat rod and reel with these no roll sinkers”.

Nice looking flathead, do you guys get them that green color all the time, Ive never seen a green one down here, thier all light to dark brown and some almost completely black.

I doubt the cat was green. I think the picture was dark and they used software to lighten it up. Taking pictures in low light the camera will not be able to properly adjust the colors.

Actually the greenish hue is almost always a telltale sign of a P2 Flatty. Not sure why, but look at past pics, a high percentage has that light greenish yellowish color.

Hmm, I never noticed that before. Weird. not weird that I never noticed, but weird that they have a green hue.

Do catfishermen and backgrounds also turn green on P2?

It’s the camera, although the cat itself could still be pretty green – lots of them down here that way too, and some very yellow ones too!

Both are correct! The picture was lightened, but I’d also agree that pool 2 flats run lighter green too imho. In fact I do not notice this unless I catch elsewhere, then I think ‘wow is that cat really dark colored’. Maybe water color, camo?
