    how high is the river at pool 4. hopeing to go friday and sat if river is low enough. anybody else goin. how is the flat head bite.

    been stuck working in kansas for last month and heard that you been getting alot of rain so didnt know if river was high, but looks like it not. goin to have to pick up some bullhead when get back and head down to the mighty miss!!

    Yes the water is higher than a “normal” year. I haven’t look for a couple days but the flow has been just over 30k cfs. Normally we would be looking at 3 to 7k cfs.

    But that hasn’t seemed to bother the cat bit. The channels are on fire one day then the very next we can only catch a few. That’s fishing I guess.

    Unless you have a 10 hp motor, pool four is very very fishable.

    I was out there yesterday. Lake City Stage is at 10.3′ when it’s normally at 5′. Flow is at 48,000 when it’s normally around 3,000-5,000.

    Water temps are high as well (81*-82*).
