Activity at the Fish Cleaning House Pool 4

    I notice a full fish cleaning house with a few guys hanging around the outside. So I took a walk over to see what’s up.

    7 guys over 100 channels in the pails.

    This might qualify as “on fire”…not sure.

    The report from the channel cat guys I’ve been talking to at Everts have been spotty. One day (like today) 5 to 6 hours will give you a WI limit (25) other days it’s just a few here and a couple there.

    The May Fly hatch is going on FULL BORE in Red Wing and up near the dam with lesser hatches in between. I haven’t heard about the hatch down toward the lake.

    Tonight we’re taking cheese and crackers to go along with out May Flies.

    40+k…But the channels don’t seem to mind.

    No May Flies by the dam tonight…65 must be too cold for them.
