Hi everybody I’m new here, actually I’ve been lurking for a bit. Its nice to find an active fishing forum closer to home. Especially one with so many catfisherman.

I had a terrible beginning of my fishing season. Only got out a hand full of times before my motor decided not to work anymore. I’m actually still waiting to get it back after 2 months. Lucky for me I had a vacation to Virginia planned that included a catfishing charter

Here are some pictures of what we caught. I’m guessing everybody likes to look at catfishing pictures as much as I do. The big one was 46 lbs and my second largest was 30 lbs. the biggest one my lady had was 31 lbs.

Catfishing pictures are ok, but those are pictures of cat holding, which I prefer. Thanks for sharing, that would be fun!

    Welcome to Ido!

Big fish pics are alway great to look at. Big cats are better!!

Come to think of it, little catfish pics aren’t bad either.

Really? I am not sure your server has enough space or bandwidth for my uploads.

Aw who am I fooling, I am just trying to impress the new guy. I don’t even have small cat pictures.

    Nice fishies!!

If anyone is looking to get in on action like that, it’s not too far away. There is awesome Blue fishing right in downtown St Louis. I’ve seen some eye popping pics lately.

New folks to the site wouldn’t understand our “running” jokes. Heck some people that have been around a while don’t see the humor in it.

I’ll wait until his second post with gloves.

ha ha I’ve been waiting for a comment about the gloves. its the first time i’ve used them since the first cat I ever caught. I will say that the one I didn’t use the gloves on had some pretty sharp teeth, sharper than I was expecting.

We can joke all we want about glove, but when I cat fish under 10 pounds (most of them ) I find myself thinking I should have gloves in the boat. Them little guys squirm once and I’m red for days!

I was going to ask if your wife let you borrow the gloves but after going through the pictures there was no need to ask

Yep that can be tough but you did good

Next time find yourself a higher platform to set the camera up on. I don’t care how big your crotch is
I only know this because I done the same!
    Nice Cat
