The Minnesota River has been challenging all year as we battle high water and flow, but the fishing has really picked up in the past few days. Caught this one just the other night by the trestle in Carver, went 40lbs. We’re getting fish mostly on bullheads and creek chubs, fishing anywhere from Carver to Shakopee. If you’re used to fishing the streams and creek mouths, try finding current seams and breaks and give them a shot. Word of advice, try doing this during the day when its easy to see! Also if you go back up into the creeks a bit farther we’ve been finding fish that way too..

We’ve been catching fish on the MN for a while now, but the last few days have really turned on, at least before this heat wave came through, going back out to carver tonight we’ll see what happens!

    Thanks for sharing!

It appears the big girls have done their job and have the old feed bag on in the P4 area too.

80 degrees at 11 pm last night…LOVE IT!

Oooow! Good call. I bet he is real stinky in the garbage…if the maggots haven’t taken care of him.
