Cats Must Be Doing It

Sure has been quiet in here, so I assume many catfish are spawning. I sure hope they build their nests well below the water surface or they could lose the spawn. I assume the incubation must be about a week and the water levels can drop pretty quick this time of year. Then again, we got some good rain last night.

    First weekend I haven’t been out (Rela-tics).

I’m looking forward to a warm t-storm free weekend coming up.

I noticed some of em are just picking up the bait to move it and not eating it. Protecting their nests I suppose.

You needn’t worry about the catfish spawn and falling water levels. Although a few will go shallow, most will be deep enough to make it just fine.
