Paul W’s kitty. His PB cat caught 5/23/11 Miss. Pool 8. Taken on a 4″ Riptide paddle tail jigging for eyes on 8# mono. Biggest cat prior was a tiny channel cat that this thing could have eaten whole. Not weighed. P&R’d!

    Thanks,

I’ve been using a new phone app called FishNotes to log all my fish and current conditions when caught. Last night put us at 20 total for the year so far.

D, holy cow. I do feel better about my measly success when you put in the often overlooked details.

Have you been adding in hours and number of folks in the boat? Would be interesting to see a fish per man-hour stat. I think some people read these forums and think that the fish just jump right in the boat. Those who knows you know that you put in your time. 5+ days per week, and not just one or two hours per day or anything.

Well let’s see. Just tonight alone. 3 guys for 6hrs. 18 man hours in the pouring rain and not a fish to be seen.

Don’t worry, you’re not the only one! I called it quits after about 5hrs of talking to the dog and no action.

2 weeks ago they all looked like they were ready to burst with eggs and they sure were eating like they were ready to go into spawn, now the last four times i go out and havent got any channels, now this never happens to me…. with channel cats anyway besides when they are spawnin
