    Hey Catman. Welcome to IDO!

There certainly is a site on the DNR page, broken down by county maps:

If you tell me a general area in the TC where you live, I could PM you a couple decent spots to start with.

It’s pretty hard to find accessible areas on the rivers that don’t already have a lot of people fishing them. I’ve found the best way is to use Bing Maps and look at satellite images to find places close to roads I can walk to.

It’s an experimental process, since river levels swing wildly, and what looks like a great place on an image is actually a pretty crappy shore spot. Look for a few and go check them out.

Used to do the same thing but back in the day we had to use a road atlas. You dont have to limit yourself to just the metro area with this. I ran all over the state checking out river bank spots. Pack the tent in the car and go for the weekend.

X2 this is what i do usually you can see areas that look like shorelines on the satty maps. you can even see deeper areas off water from the satty photos to because its a darker color to help you pick the right shore spots to try out
