Here is a few more. Over the years Ive come to believe sturgeon are a fair weather fish. We have had some of our best fishing under high skies and very light winds. Monday morning was those exact conditions and the fish showed up. Frank and I boated 6 in 2 hrs. One was a short. 2 in the mid to upper 40s. 2 in the 50″ range and the last fish of our trip and biggest of the trip was a very nice 60″s that Frank caught. You can see by the back ground in these photos our weather conditions.

This photo has a hint in the back ground of where we where fishing. No gold but still nice fish. Didnt even notice the rainbow until this morning while looking at the photos.

This was on Sunday with passing rain clouds. Every time a cloud would come over we where hit with high wind gusts. Would guess upwards of 30mph. 10 minutes later it was light winds again until the next cloud came by. Must of repeated this a dozen times that day. One of the last clouds of the day produced some very bright rainbows. The double rainbow showed up pretty well but at times there was even a triple.

Good luck to all of you that are heading up this weekend. I know many are all ready there or on the road. For us it was some great fishing the last 2 weekends but it looks like we are done until next year.

Looks like I should have went back up instead of staying home and doing yard work.

Looks like a great trip Mike.
