I have a bass fishing friend that is leaving for Wigwam today.

He just realized his net might not be large enough for a sturgeon.

Anyone have one they aren’t using that he and his son could use for the weekend?

He’s leaving from the Lakeville area and would suspect he’s willing to pick up and deliver back on Sunday.

    You can PM Him Here<<

    Thanks all!

From the few I spoke with yesterday and the resorts, pretty good. Not totally awesome but everyones getting fish. Lots of 50’s coming in.

Along with at least two 70+ fish over this last week.

I’m not sure I’m geared up for a 70+ inch fish!

    We’re leaving around noon Ron.

I have just the net for him Brian.

A very large Frabil net with the hoop on the end for them to swim right in.

He can stop in Arlington as I will be home all day.

    PM sent.

Bk, you may have one already but I have one here as well if needed.

My sturgeon rods are still rigged from last fall if anyone needs two rods last minute.

Nothing wrong with just grabbing them out of the water. Anything under 50 is just a quick snatch of the tail and in the boat. 50s get a little more challenging but still pretty easy to do. No 60″s you almost need to get both hands on that tail. The trick is to grab and hoist in the boat very quickly before they turn and you loose grip. Ive heard 70s you need a very deep net to get them in or you are going to have one guy on the net and another on the tail. Im still looking forward to the day I get to tail grab one of those and haul it in.

No net in my boat. Just takes up to much room.

Good luck to you guys heading up.

Mr Murphy struck, we unloaded the truck and got a phone call from my SIL, seems FIL had another stroke, he’s 83 so we expect the worst.

Appears he’s doing ok and will be back at the home the first part of next week.

Considering what we spent to get there and back I was grateful and have to give Kudo’s to Wheelers Resort, about a half hour after checking in, we had to check out and they said not to worry.

    Maybe next year..:(

Thanks guys, he’s doing fine considering, already planning for the Croix this fall, really sucks but that’s life I guess.

I hope your all missing the wind and cold we’re getting down here?
