Tagged sturgeon report results

    I knew these beasts grew slowly but this is really slow.

    Here is the report from the DNR on a fish we released with a tag.

    2004–56.7 inches
    2011–59.5 inches

    I guess one does not grow any slower than that.

    It would have been nice to see the girth growth.

    I am a doo doo bird.

    The 2004 length was 48.6. So it looks like 11″ of length growth in 7-8 years.

    BK, I sent in the girth in but the last 2 too report it did not so I have nothing to compare it to.

    I grow that slow! another 14 years and I’ll be six foot
