Catfishing in Manitoba?

    Has anybody been catfishing on the Red river North of Winnipeg?I have a trip planned for the end of August and was wondering if the Green backs are in the river at that time to do some Walleye fishing also.

    They will be in the river, how thick depends on a lot of factors. They are in the river all year. I would suggest joining our Facebook group, ice fishing Manitoba. Constant updates, even during soft water. Donovan Pearse from black water cats as well as several other guides do split trips. May do cats on the red in the morning, run to pine falls for the afternoon greenback bite.
