    My buddy sent me this pic. I have no idea where it was caught or event he species. Anyone know?

    I might be wrong, but I think it is a Wels(european)Catfish. If memory severs me right, there was a thread on these cat awhile back.

    A Wels catfish it is indeed….and they commonly get to over 200 lbs…..I’d love to tackle one of those bad boys.

    What do think about noodling one of those cats up? All in all, I bet it would be one helluva battle hooking one.

    Well….seeing as that fish weighs probably @200lbs….i’ve only got him by about 35lb’s …..so ‘d probably have to beat him into submission b4 he drowned me. I’ll stick to hook and line.

    yah……gots to be a Wels Catfish from somewhere in Eurpoe like stated b4. look at the anal fin ray….its goes dang near the lenght of the tail.
