I bought the In-Fisherman video, “Flathead Catfish Day on the River” today. It is a superb teaching video. It covers a lot of great techniques for scouting water and finding flathead locations. It was filmed on the Minnesota River. Trouble is that after you watch it you are ready to go fishing. I highly recommend it – it does give you the bug bad. Come on spring.

Steve, could you tell what areas of the MN? I think the flats in the MN are shaking already…just knowing your coming! 
Brian – the video was half done and I stopped it and got out my MN river map to try and locate where they were. I will have it figured out pretty close before I am done. I’ll loan you the video – you’ve got to see it.

How far down…er up the MN was it. This side or the other side of Mankato? We might be able to get some hot tips from some of our members that fish the MN in those areas through a PM.
I’ve been practicing in my garage. Casting my 10/0 hook with a 4 oz weight into my loaded portable fish shack…then reeling it in….just can’t get the bait clicker to make any noise. 
I got that video to! It is awesome! I am pretty sure I know exactly where they are fishing! Actually they (Infisherman)fish the whole MN river down to the Carver area from out west!

Good video……….i loved it……i got all the infisherman cattin videos and that one is one of the top ones for information. 
Only thing wrong with it was that I wasn’t along, And that Doug said that he caught that one cat on a 9″ bullhead, that size is not a legal size bullhead in MN. 7″ and under is the size allowed! 
That is a good video, and your right, 7″ bullheads are as big as are allowed.
