RipnLips 31 lb Flathead

    Here’s a picture of Jamie Friebel (a.k.a. RipnLips) with a 31 lb flat he caught prefishing the RCL on Sept. 26th. It was about 40″ long.

    Jamie caught the cat lindy rigging a creek chub using a spinning reel with a 6 lb leader.

    I keep telling Jamie that I thought I should get the net out but he didn’t think he would need it. Then after awhile he agreed to get the net but not to bother putting the handle on it…. just hold the hoop and scoop it up. After we got a good look at it, we put the handle on.

    I had a great day with you to boone,that was the biggest flathead to date for me.Mazer dont get them that big.Lets get together and go wing dam hoping again boone.Boone knows the pool 3 wings like the back of his hand,just to bad it wasnt a Dam bite this year,no pun attended .See ya on the water.
