Fished from 6:00 pm to 2:00 am. What an absolutely beautiful evening – except the fish weren’t biting and the Twins lost. Water temp 73 degrees, almost full moon, perfectly calm water, I had a great time. Got one small Flat at 6:30 pm and that was it for the night. Had a good clicker singing run at 1215 am on cut bait and I missed the fish. I’m out again tonight – sooner or later I am going to catch the big one – can’t catch fish if you don’t have a hook in the water. Here is a picture of the little one – Dirk I think you caught his mother the other night!

That guy’d make a good snack!

Hey, good news is that you’re enjoying some great weather and even a little guy like that puts you all up on my results this year! Go get ’em tonight!!!

Com, that’s a great picture, even if it isn’t big Louie! The background is bitter/sweet. Changing colors means winter is coming, but also great fishing! Since it’s along the river, I doubt is drought stress!
