The Upper Upper Mississippi

    Hey guys, new to the board, old hand at river fishing. I have been limited recently to fishing the river around the St. Cloud area. Anyone ever fish that far north? If so whats your big fish? Any suggestions for spots along the shore in the area or tributaries in the area to fish? I’ve tried the Sauk river, but have not had much luck with cats up there. Also, is there an appreciable difference in fishing above or below the dam? Any help would be appreciated?

    I have always had my best luck fishing below the dam, and i mean right below it. Hook a nice peice of cut bait on and cast right where the water falls over the dam and continues down the river.
