Bullheads do it again!

    I was out drowning bullheads on the St Croix this evening. Caught a 25″ walleye on a 6″ bullhead. She picked it up and took off with the bait clicker singing. I thought I had a flathead until it played dead right away. Not much fight on 50# Fireline. This was the only fish all night. I just fished from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Twins win!! It was a great game. What an absolutely beautiful night. I’ll be after them again next week.

    Bet you got scared seeing that ugly green fish come out of the water when your expecting at nice kitty

    this may seem like a dumb question, but are bullheads legal to use for bait?

    Funny, the Twins were down 3-0 as it was getting dark. From the time I left my last spot till I had the boat on the trailer… (Maybe 15-20 minutes) the game was tied! You got to like how scrappy the team has been lately.

    yup…they are legal if they are under seven inches.
