    I have seen a few gar below the dam on the cannon river real small.

    Hey Beardog! Where’s the dam on the Cannon that you’ve seen the gar? I haven’t fished the Cannon much, but. I did catch a bunch of carp on the river near Welch 2 weeks ago. The smallies weren’t biting, so I tossed out some crawlers. I love throwing crawlers into a new river to see what I come up with. Usually it’s a sheepshead or carp but you never know. Thanks, Vern
