woo hoo! new rod!!!!

    well……i finally got my custom rod back! I had brian Stewart from Stewart Fishing Co. (a flyfishing shop in R.W.) make me a rod for catfishing. Actally, getting the rod built was a b-day present from my parent’s…….thanks mommy!

    Anyways…….i got a Heavy action, 7 1/2 ft St.Croix Catfish classic blank. The glass/graphite style. And had Brian put the large quark, and BRIGHT cartchuse wrappign on teh guides…..its even got Glowing thread tied at the tip.

    Then i customized it by drawing FLAMES at the base of the rod and wrote “MudKat’s KustomZ”

    then i put a Penn 321 on ‘er………80 lb PowerPro

    Its an “Ugly, yet INCREDIBLE AWESOME” rod! Just the way i wanted it!!!!!

    Hey Mudcat, let me know how that glow thread works. I didn’t even know they made the stuff. Sounds like a nice rod!
