Wigwam will need this for planning the Saturday evening dinner along with other things.

Wigwam needs this to be a clean thread, so please post any questions or remarks in the other SE thread. I’ll be deleting posts off this topic from this thread to keep it “clean”. THANKS!

Our group has had a change of plans due to the no dock situation at Wigwam, it will not be feasable for us to trailer our boat and launch 4 days in a row.
WHICH MEANS……there is a open cabin at Wigwam ask for TRAILSIDE!
Bummer, we were looking forward to meeting all you guys. Maybe next year
Anybody know of a resort that has docks on the river to tie a boat to?

Hey Brian this is Dani from Wigwam and the fishing has been really good lately. I got word today that the best catches has been with the jiggin minnows. Others have been using the gold Jiggs too. The river from Clementson to Birchdale is opening up as of today the report was good news from the Clementson Resort and some people who live on the River in Clementson. Just for some of you who do not know the area Clementson is only 25 Miles by River and 18 miles by Land. There has been alot of 27+ Walleye catches from the River in that area. There was a 53″ Sturgeon in BIrchdale area over the weekend.

The deep fried turkey dinner Saturday night with all the fix’ens will be running about $15 a plate…you guys won’t be going to bed hungry!

Wigwam will be haveing an IDA breakfast buffet each morning. Dani went through everything that would be on the buffet…but I don’t remember what it was…eggs with ham and ???
For $7.99 it’s all you care to eat!

(no jumping banana’s will be served.)

Brian: If you can keep us posted regarding ice out, that would be a great. Though looking forward to the trip, realistically I am thinking of the time/financial commitment involved only to result in possibly not being able to fish. Thanks!

Fishing for sturgeon is guarnteed right now as there are sturgeon in the river system as we speak.

What’s not certain is if we can fish within a half mile of Wigwam.

Latest update is the open water is 18 miles from Wigwam. With the temps moveing up over the weekend and through next week, I’m feeling much better.

I’m leaving Thursday morning and have a group or two heading up Wednesday.

    More updates to follow.
