    That’s funny!

But a couple things puzzle me…The cat was in that shallow of water with the temp at 33 degrees….and the frogs were croaking??

I’m not an expert with frogs or flats in cold water…but that seems to go against everything I’ve heard.

Maybe the frogs were chorus frogs. I am always amazed to hear them in the spring. Usually when there is still snow on the ground.

Mike, you need to get out of the house more often!

Only a couple weeks until the shore bite turns on!

I was out yesterday for about a couple of hours at downtown St. Paul More of a scouting run. Didn’t catch anything. Not only do I need to get out more, but I need to get out with people more. Someone will have to let me know when Mills Ruins opens up.

You’ll see the fishing report when it does! It could be at any time in the next couple weeks when they take the tug out and start busting up the ice, then whatever time it takes for the ice to clear. Much will be dictated b the weather. A few truly warm days will help.
