Perfect example of St Croix boating ethics.

THere is absolutely no reason that could justify that.

Just plain ridiculous. He should get arrested or cited, not just disqualified.

hmmm…I wonder if he would try that with some muskie fisherman? He’d have to figure out how to remove some treble hooks from a big lure…What an idiot…

BASS and bass fishermen will hang their heads in shame!!! Or am I wrong here??? No matter what species you fish or what type of boat you pilot, that type of behavior should not be tolerated!

That video made my jaw drop. How could anyone be that irresponsible. I thought this was just another situation overblown but this is really bad. We have all had close calls by others I am sure but I know that is worse than anything I have ever had.
I am not speechless but I am stunned!

I saw that on TV, I think it was Saturday morning. It was taken from a differant angle and a boater waved him on through.

What he did was still wrong…well, maybe I should say un safe…and I could see how it happened. I’ve had my share of fun with the bass guys…however…

If I was in a hurry…and a someone I knew was in a boat flagged me through…my first thought is go for it.

The video I saw showed him adjust his stearage and (it appeared) that he was going to slow down…then changed his mind and went through…thinking that it was safe enough passage.

I’m guessing what didn’t go through his mind was that he was breaking the law…and less importantly the tourney rules.

I’m thinking he’s not a happy man today.

Maybe he did get waved through…by one guy. There were still at least a dozen other boats in the immediate vicinity. I don’t care how good of a boat driver he is, he can’t account for the skills of those spectators.
