He’s lucky he’s not buddies with Blue. With the two of ’em together, one or both would be dead by now.

I have to admit I had ole Bill wrong. He always seemed like the kind of guy who would lose it, but aside from the sensitive rod, he was pretty good natured about it.

I nominate the snake one as the best. When they show it in slowmo, I about fell off my chair.

Don’t know who has more fun making these, Bill Dance or the camera man. Man, that boat launch one sure makes me homesick for nice spring open water fishing in my jon boat.

    Thanks, Bill

This stuff never happens to a Cat fisherman

Unless maybe his name was Briank.

    Hi Brian.

    Hi Brian.

I can tell you dont go catfishing much

Catfishing at any time can turn into an adventure.. plenty of things to go wrong, or *bump* in the night.. then the urban issues that always seem to find there way around here and there… Heck, blacksportsman frequently attracts secret admirors(sp?) that will often return seeking his company… Even Brian K and his favorite wife met one

Who was that? Maybe stcroixer and gocatfish that had an admiror on the bank really getting into watching them fish last year?

Now Dave, how could you tell that I’m a ”rusty rookie” at catin?

You know, Dave, only you can make a dark man blush…

There was this guy we met down at one of our urban cattin’ spots on the river back in early June of ’05 who had shown up down there something like three nights in a row. Every time he was down there, he’d hang around me, carrying on these long and random conversations with me, and on top of that, he’d stick around for hours! Wasn’t fishing, just hanging out! Dave warned me that the guy had eyes for me, but I remained in denial until the last night he came down there. I had my girlfriend and kids along with and after he found out that they were with me, he came up to me and said, “I guess you won’t be seeing me around anymore.”

When Dave gets his video cam up and running, I’m sure we’re going to see some video clips that will make Bill Dance’s bloopers look like amateur night

Maybe I should have Dave teach me how to use the camera so I can spend more time behind it rather than in front of it

I don’t know Manny, the dead sucker on your lip while you were snoozing had me bent over for a while…and I wasn’t even there!

Ever since I saw that snake video last winter…I’ alway watch “above” when going under trees.

I would have love to have been along with Catdad when he parked his flat bottom on a nest of young bull snakes…well maybe not.

Almost forgot…Manny, I never did like the way you broke up with that fella…you need to be a little more sensitive in the future.

…actually, it’s easy to laugh now…but I think that guy lost part of his tackle box somewhere in life.

He was a few yards short of a full spool, was he?

Either that or he was way over his limit.

    Sad, but true…

He definitely was a few bullies short of a dozen

So you are saying he was “over the slot limit”?

I wouldn’t know! When I realized he had opened his “livewell” and pulled out his “catch”, I quickly looked the other way

I really didn’t want to catch the guy “poaching”
