I have a question for you guys. I caught some catfish in the Wolf River…right near Mud Island in Memphis. Anyway, I noticed a sign that said something about how eating the fish from the river caused cancer…..
Does anyone know anything about this? I’m trying to figure out what exactly to do.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Well, if it’s an official sign from your state DNR agency, I’d heed the warning and not eat the fish from those waters. Unfortunately there are some bodies of water that have been severely devestated by the effects of pollution for industry.
Don’t chance eating these fish. Go fishing… just practice catch and release.
