Good price on the 7000C3i

    I was just at Thorne Brothers yesterday and noticed that they have the new Abu Garcia 7000C3i for $120. Cheaper than Catfish Connection and you don’t have to pay for shipping! They have the 7000i, too, but it’s priced a little higher than CC. But, if anyone wants to lay their hands on either reel rather than blindly ordering one, there’s your chance.

    I handled both and they each felt very nice.

    They have the “flip lever” versus the “push button”, but the lever flips out of free-spool when you turn the crank.

    Went for a little road trip to Cabelas the other day and took the C3i for a little test drive.

    Very nice reel. That new power handle is sweet. I believe the retail was $119.
