Went out Friday night for cats. MY favorite flathead spot. Water temp at 56. Must be too early. I just kept catching those pesky walleye. Minnows, cutbait, nightcrawler, all the same. Just one walleye after another. Do you think that if I just left one on the hook a cat might come pick it up?
Saturday went looking for whitebass. Same thing. Pesky Walleyes. Wingdams, The big dam, no matter, spinners, jigs, no matter, couldn’t pull them through the walleyes to get to the whitebass. Guess I’ll have to go walleye fishing after work tonight.

5A, but it looks like it is all over for a couple of weeks. High water really sucks. Time to hit the honey do list.

    Woolie,
    Catfish won’t eat them.
They have a repelent or something smelly about them, like the stinky kid in class.
If you are a medium heavy pole how could you tell you had fish on?
