Someone Missed Out!

Fisher Dave & I were all set to head to the Horseshoe Chain On Saturday, until I got a text from him…

Being the understanding guy that I am, family comes first and Dave needed to stay home with the new member of the family. Good Choice!

Even Manny (blacksportsman) didn’t want in on this action.

I still made it out on Sunday with another buddy and we layed the smack down. 26 cats in a half days work and my buddy lost/missed another dozen. Rookie catters.

We’ll get ’em another time Dave, lots of winter left still. But then again, another month and some change and we can talk open water cattin’ again. But then again there is Ice Fishing… Open water… Ice Fishing… Open Water… Ice Fishing… Grrrrr…. Too many options.

Looks like fun, Chris. How was that wind out there?

I need to shake this cold…and get out there!

Did you sled out to that spot? I’m guessing the ice aught to be good by now?

I know. Should I talk about a couple doubles I had, or the triple for my buddy and I. We were parked in one spot in the shack fishing cutbait very near the bottom. When the cats moved through, all the bobbers would go down!

We did use sleds cause thats how I like to roll. However, lots of vehicles running around saw a Jeep Cherokee near the Meth Hole.
