Has anyone ever had their hands on one of these reels? They’ve piqued my interest for a year now and I’m toying with picking one up. They’re affordable and I have had good luck with the Pflueger reels that I currently have.
Specifically, I am looking at the G15. Here’s the stats:

With the quality of reels pflueger has been putting out the last few years.. its probably a pretty good reel. I havent had a chance to field test one, nor have I handled one.
pflueger puts out some top quality reels.. like many other manufacturers… I assume like many other manufacturers, the *economical* lines of reels dont always hold a candle compared to the top of the line products, but usually perform reasonably well for a season or two.
I bought a Pflueger President micro for ice fishing this year and am impressed with its performance so far. I have iced some good sized fish on 2# line. To me that is a good test of a smooth drag. I know it is not comparable to the reel you are looking at but just wanted to let you know I am happy with the brand so far.
