    i’m fairly new to the river ifish on pool 8 and 9
    always looking for catfish but can’t find any
    could some one please point me in the right direction

    Smokedog.. you fishin from shore? GOtta Boat? what are you using for baite…. give us some more info than… “tell me where to fish”

    i have a boat and use all cut bait and so on
    i’m origally from va. and caught lots of cats
    but can’t seem to get the hang of the migty muddy

    Rite now with the water high… get in the back channel and feeder creeks………. usually when the miss is high the feeder creeks back up and the water flow is actually seem slower… but any flooded back waters with snags and a little flow will do ya fine… helps to have some depth as well….. during the day fish the snags during the the night fish the current more…… if you have a stretch of river or back slough that is 7 ft with a couple spots that are maybe 12 + you know where to look…… good luck
