Here is some text I recieved from a friend, don’t no the validity, and most of you may have saw this already, but here you go.

“I don’t know if you are familiar with “noodling”, but it is the term for the way Oklahoma guys catch their fish. Theses guys wade out into the river and feel for holes in the river floor. When theyfind a catfish hole, they stick their hands in there and pull out these monster catfish. Here are some pictures of what they come out with. Think about these dudes the next time your swimming in the river.”

    Thanks waterfowler-love the pics.

But there is NO WAY those things were taken noodling. Are they even USA cats? I dont recognize the species or coloring. Those have to be pushing 100lbs and they arent blue cats.

Any experts around to identify those giants? They dont look like flatheads.

Those look to be cats from Europe. Welles cats or something close to that spelling. Here’s a link that’ll show a bunch of cats that look like that guy’s. If you look at the body of the cat, the European variety has a longer, more eel-like appearance. Still, a noodler is a noodler, and if that guy landed it with his hands, the WWE has a place for him.

Them are bigguns but they’re not flatheads. They look like European Wels Catfish to me to.
