I just got off the phone with Cat the Wigwam and she said there is only 1 cabin left that has not been reserverd for this event. I did not think to ask about the rooms.

    Have at it boys.

I have a couple of flats of crawlers from Mike at HOF. I could bring up some more if guys are in need of it. Also could bring up any other stuff if needed from HOF.

I also got my confirmation stuff from Wigwam yesterday. We have 3 guys staying in a cabin, so if there aer any others (nice people only ) in need of a place, we could spare a few beds. I am told they recomend 6 or 7 per cabin. Our crew may talk loud and a few, but don’t get too carried away. You never know about my Dad though

I also have a 6-bunk cabin with at least 2 open bunks I’d like to fill. Warning: Whoever takes them needs a thick skin, as my crew is ruthless…

Well, I know what they say about paybacks…but that was way more than even I deserved!

I’m thinking well have to replace Cat’s avatar this April with on of her with an apron on.

…hmmm…wonder if we could get Tom in an apron.

Last I heard there was a cabin that slept 9 left and rooms in the lodge. I’ll be checking with Cat to see where we stand tomorrow.

I reserved a room in the lodge for Shamu and I and we were told we got the IDA discount, a couple weeks back. I spoke to Kevin though.

Made reservations yesterday. The 3 of us John Deere guys are coming up again for good fishing, good fun, good turkey and to see good IDA people. Have a room in the lodge reserved. Sleeps 4, so if someone needs a room, shoot me a PM.

Greetings one and all!! With the first temps above freezing I am crawling out of my hole and am begining to think of that vast fleet of gray submarines that are already probably starting to turn their pointy noses towards the mouth of the Rainy River. I can’t wait! I hope to join you for a great time and I have a question for those of you in the know…Last year I was pretty paranoid about not straying over the “imaginary line” into Canadian water. Of course by looking at the map it always seemed that Minnesota owned about 15 feet of the main channel and the rest was in Canada. To avoid confusion, would it be advisable to buy a nonresident Canada license so as to take the worry out, or are there also customs concerns in crossing the line? Your advice would be most appreciated. Thanks.

There he is! I was wondering when you were going to defrost.

I have a pm in to someone that can answer that question better than I. I can say none of us that I know of had an issue with that last year.

    Hi Guys

About the border…We always go by the river channel. Half is ours and half is theirs so basically right down the middle of the river. They don’t say too much as long as you aren’t blatently over the line and stay there. If you are fishing on the “Canadian side” they will get you for everything they can including live bait. But if you even think you are in Canadian water and see a boat heading toward you on their side get on the US side ASAP and they can’t touch you.

I am in no way condoning fishing their side just fair warning to everyone not firmiliar with the situation.

MN would like to see it go shore to shore…Really what’s the difference? It’s all the same fish. It’s not like the Canadian fish stay on their side and the MN fish stay on our side.

Sorry I got carried away…Anyway. Right down the middle of the river channel is the INTL boundary.

Any more questions let me know.

    Cat
