So it isn’t a cat, but this is where I live most the time and I wanted to make sure Bob knew i was doing my part. Ok, it isn’t big, but it is my first musky I have boated. I’ll take it with the year I have been having.

As with most of the pike I catch, he got pay back!

Dude! That isn’t a flathead! Keep your fingers out of the mouth!

    Don’t tell me…cought on Moore’s shad on the bottom…

Well, I am hasty when getting fish back to the water safely. I know how coveted musky are to the people who fish them. So your bound to get cut when unhooking and releasing. Further proof that I am more concerned with the fishes health is that I took 2 pictures and this was the best one. I knew I had a goofy look on my face, well goofier than normal anyway, but I didn’t want to keep him on dry land for one more shot.

It absolutely was caught on shad, I use nothing else.

Nice fish, we will work on getting you bigger ones as the season goes on. Hard to tell at this time if it was the hat, or the all purpose shad. Always fun to see alittle blood after catching one, even my guys that just fish for those come in with bandages on. If you get tired of the dock, go over to the next parking spot by the canoe dock and fish off that working your way up to the beach. Nice gradual drop off with that point. Keep us posted to your morning jaunts, nice lake over there…..

Oh crap, I forgot the blurred background!

Not sure if I’ll be hitting anything in the am anymore. We’ll see if the weather cooperates.

Upon further inspection of my avatar that was a early season flathead and sad to say my biggest of the year, perhaps I need to wear my Wild shirt everytime I go fishing. I finally figured out the pattern! And Moore’s hat just enhances the luck!

By ‘boated’ do you mean ‘docked’?

Ya think a tie dyed Moore’s Bait and Tackle hat would be the ticket??

    How’s about a shirt?
