Last night the ThunderCat cuaght some really nice channels, including one that went 30.5″ and super thick. But on a #4 channel I decide to just flip it over a fence instead of waiting for Gary to net it and Snap about a 1/3 down. I think FleetFarm should be able to exchange it for me or I hope they do.
On the bright side it was good to me you guys Carl and Brandy.
Gary that was one heck of a net job on that Flattie. I’ve never seen anyone scale the fence like that. And Carl good job on the assist too.
All in all it was a good night some fish were caught and great company.
We’ll have to do that again here soon.

Thanks, but those Katkings still aren’t the same. The Thundercat “Thunderstick by Storm” is really a salmon rod. It’s a 8’6″ MH #10-#30 with a really soft E-glass tip, it broke just below the tip portion and lots of backbone. It’s pretty much the same as a Ugly stick. I really hope they same some left and is willin to exchange because we’ve bonded now.

    Let’s see some photos.

If they won’t exchange it, you can borrow mine for a while. I’d contact Storm, too, because they are warrantied.

    Mr. Special,

It was good to finally meet you. Too bad about that pole. Hopefully fleet farm will help ya out, or you could always go with Gary’s idea. Anyways, things kept going pretty good last night after you left. However, we missed a lot of fish…… kinda like Gary. Did Manage to bring 2 channels in though. Biggest being about 5lbs. Hope to see ya out there again.

Oh, and Gary, good to see ya again!

    Mr Special and Pier..

sorry to miss you guys last night. It sound like I pulled up with the boat shortly after you left.

We didnt do any better out of the boat in the area you were fishing, just one channel when we were bouncing around. We did get fish all over the place, but not a lot of fish anywhere.

It was good to meet you too MrSpecial! I hope the fact that were slaying the fish, made snapping your pole a little less painful! Good luck with finding a new one!

Catching fish made it better, but the worst part is it was my fault it broke. Hind sight is always 20/20. Oh well live and learn No more flipping #4 fish up 10′. Darn those bass fishin habits. It’s really Ebass’s fault come to think of it, he took me Bassin a week ago

Ummmm…..not exactly how it went……he got the fish over the fence no problem, and for some reason he decided to swing the fish around in the air and on the second or third loop we heard the dreaded crack sound……

Other then that it was the Mr. Special show…..

First Fish was the big channel caught on frozen cut sucker 30 1/2 incher…..no weight but we were guesing 15-lbs or so.

    and another without the heater….

and after a quick move and changing to his backup pole.

10# Flathead caught on a shad body “no head or tail”

It’s was nice be out Cattin again after my 3 week sabatical……I was just a bit rusty and got Schooled 5-0 by Mr. Special……

    THUNDERCAT IS ALIVE
Went to FleetFarm and they were willing to exchange it for me, no ???? asked, no reciept either.
    FYI,
They still have some in stock. I also saw baitcaster versus. It’s a 8’6″ MH Line Rating #15-#30 for only $25.
