    Hey I knew I could get ya to read this post. Action is kinda slow for me. This low water has thrown off my game a bit. Anyone one else doing anything?

    Hey Brokenknuckles! I see you are from Bloomington. Are you fishing the Minnesota there? Have you been fishing flatheads or channels? I’ll be doing some flathead fishing in that area in the next couple of weeks. I’ve been walleye/smallie fishing lately. It’s time for some cats. Vern

    this cool weather has kinda got the fish slowing down a little the bite has been turning oof much earlier in the evening then the past few weeks for the flatheads. still getting fish, but getting cold too

    I got a couple Aug 6

    Released them after the photo. 51# and 35#

    The bigger one on a spinning reel loaded with 30# test

    Hey Vern, I fish the Minnesota a bunch. Its real close to my house. I mostly fish for flatheads but I have caught some nice channel cats in the area. Do you fish the Minnesota River?
