Great time fishing with Gocatfish … Pics.

I had the opportunity to get out on the water for the first time and fish with Gocatfish. Gotta hand it to Tony, I almost drove by a spot that he pegged, thinking that it would be too shallow.
We managed to boat 4 cats for the evening. 2 nice channels one at a little over 6 another over 8. And 2 Flatheads. One around 15 and a smaller one around 5.
Dispite haveing a little motor trouble on the way back to the launch, We were a couple of happy campers.
Tony thanks for the good company and way to go on getting 3 out of the 4 fish for the night. Look forward to doing it again soon.

And last but not least. The small flathead that caught us both by surprise at the end of the night when it was time to reel in and head out. This guy was on Tony’s line unbeknown to us

Was it cut sucker for the evenings menue?

If Tony tells you a spot looks good, you fish it! I fished with him once, and in that amount of time I could tell Tony knows river fishing and cat fishing.

He also knows when it is time to go home, right Tony? Audemp can vouch for that. There are not a lot of good reasons to rush home from a fishing hole, but there are some!

Did she ever get over that Tony? You only fished for like 22 hours that day sheesh!!

Thank you for the great time on the river It was good to finally meet in person I can’t wait to get down on pool 2. Thank you for posting the pics to, maybe sometime I’ll have to learn how to post my own pics.

That is the second time this year I didn’t realize I had a fish until I reeled in.

Larry’s channel came on cut sucker and I got the channel and the bigger flat on chubs and the last fish was on a bullie. I would watch out for Larry, he has got a great handle on this catfishin’ thing. Definatley gonna be a strong contender the rest of this year and next year in the league.

Pug- yea I know when to call it quits, especially when the GF calls and says it would be in my best interest to come home. Luckily 90% of the time it is not that I’m in trouble, it’s because she wants some TLC that only I can give her.

Yea she’s over it. She realizes how passionate I am about fishing, she also likes the fact that I would rather go sit in the boat or on shore than go down to the local pub and get hammed. I am really lucky to have her, I can go fish pretty much when I feel like it, as long as come home on time there is no bickering when I roll in at 2am.

What is protocal(sp) for complaining about the FW, is there a time limit, or can you start right away

Like she doesn’t fish with you now. You probably are getting married so you don’t have to worry about the TLC interfering with the fishing. You know what they say, if you want to stop getting TLC, then get married!

I would have to think she saw those pictures of Pug and the Catfish making out, and he was worried she was going to find that “sexually appealing” and hit the road.

Gocatfish, it was good to meet you up at Moore’s yesterday. Glad to see you got some good action out there on the water. You and Larry had more luck than our group. We only managed a few smaller channels and a walleye. Oh well. Anyways, see ya around…..
