Here’s a couple of pictures of the fish Gocatfishing (Tony) and I caught.

Tony had a couple of runs on cutbait. My bullhead kept me interested at times. We had one storm pass to the north easly in the evening. We had one then sneek up on us and we decided to head to the launch and wait it out. We got soaked, but I am glad I was with a guy who knew the river. I think he could have driven us back blindfolded. It was still pouring at the launch, so that ended it for Tony. I figured it was a slow night for all so I decided to drive in the rain to a shore spot and try and put something on the board. I had one good run with 10 minutes. He was running with it pretty good, but I whiffed. MrKeb showed up with his buddy and I thought we’d catch one. I ended up being awaken (Thanks MrKeb) at 4:30 and went home.

To those who caught fish. I know it was a tough night for most of us.

It was a good time though. Thanks Tony for taken me out. Congrats to whoever wins.

Thats too bad…a few miles south of you was dry and windy. We had a nice light show to the north with all the lightening. We also had a fireworks show right next to one of our spots Pretty annoying but it was nice to get out on the river.

I didnt write down the measurements or weight of the fish.. I forgot.

I believe the larget Channel was #13 10 oz, and the 2nd place channel was #10 7oz.. very respectable channels.

Those guys will have to fill you in on thesize of the flatheads. I saw the pictures and video of the fish being caught.. very nice fish, and a rare video to be shot in daylight!

    Hats off guys, nice fish!

Way to go Larry & Dtro! Glad to see someone was able to catch some fish. It sure was slow for us all night and into the early morning. Not even so much as a nibble or thunk on the rod. One heck of a lightning show though! That made things interesting, the rain was pretty crazy too. Oh well, there is always next time.

Oh.. and Pug, you’re welcome for the wake up call. We figured when we hadnt heard from you once you moved downstream a little that you must have fallen asleep. Sure enough, after yelling over to you with no response we eventually found you fast asleep. Glad we checked…. who knows what could have become of you… anyways, good seeing ya again.

You didn’t hear me snoring? I have a reputation for being one of the loudest snorers in the world and I was on my back. Yes, thanks again for waking me up. I thought I could just close my eyes for second. Next time I better make sure someone knows I am resting my eyelids!
