Had the pleasure of fishing some new waters with (Bob the Guide Moore. It didnt take us long to agree on a spot that looked to be a winner. Moores Suckers and Bullheads were the prefered bait of choice. Fishing a small feeder stream flow.

we managed to boat 2 nice Flatheads. Bob with a 12lb and Larry with a 28. We missed a couple runs but were tickled with landing fish in a new spot.

    thanks Larry.

Oh yea, (Message from Bob) Dave, Brian and Gary. Bob wanted me to check in with you guys to make sure your phones were working and that you were all right. Since he didnt get any text messages, he was a little worried about you guys.

Dave’s battery was dead on his phone…and so was Gary’s on his truck…but with a quick thinking Gary, we were on the road in a few moments.

You guy creamed us tonight! A 11 and two smaller fish came into the boat. I think we should have been fishing with mayflies since the surface was “alive” with fish feeding on them.

    Nice fish guys!

PS Larry, you look “at home” with a cat in the photo!

I was wondering how you guys would do. I saw Bob gearing up at Moore’s yesterday morning.

I was about 1 piece of good financial sense away from picking up his Abu 7000 reel, then my checkbook yelled at me.

    Good fish guys!!!

Larry, nice fish you got there, and a really good camera man to boot. We do need to try that again when your up to it, After reading the thread about the anchors, I hope your not going to break my back with anything new. One of the goldens couldn’t sleep so I thought I better try this on line stuff. You have my number, give me a call when your ready for another personal best. It was a pleasure to watch you catch it, and hope we can do it again………..

    Hey Bob,

It was a great time. Nice fish yourself Mate!

Glad to see your finding time in your busy scheduel to post.

We do have to get out soon and see if we can pull a few more in the boat. Nice work using the Boga grippers for the first time. Howed you like those compared to using a net?

    thanks

The bigger one 60lb. I figured that I already have a small net. I need something to pull the biggerones in the boat.
They work good on flats down to about 7lb. Channels under 10lbs are hard. Small mouth and they never want to say AHHHH for the grippers.
    thanks
