Has anyone had any luck with catching flatheads in spring lake portion of the miss? I noticed it has a lot of stumps and snags…it seems it would be decent.
I know a couple people have tried SL…they’ve found the currant to be too slow for them to fairly easily locate fish. I would bet there are some piggies in there…but finding them is tuff…
A word of caution that you touched on…those stumps are lower end magnets…losing a motor is bad…losing your life…not worth a chance at a fish…of any size….be careful out there.
I would be more than happy to take you on a lower P2/P3 log jumping journey and show you some of the areas you could reach without any issues if you wouldn’t mind chipping in a few bucks for fuel

Mike, would you be willing to chip in some ching to replace my shorts after the trip
It takes a special person to drop that kind of money on a boat knowing that you are going to beat the tar out of it . The river-pro is an amazing boat and quite the ride with captain Mack at the wheel. Brush jumping should become an olympic sport I got the chance to fish with Mike yesterday in the river-pro, we did not do any brush jumping but the view on the river was great
