Maybe we could get some ideas together to give to Moore’s bait on what we would like to see him carry in his store. He already has a great start thanks to Brian.

Doing this will also hopefully bring him some more buisness. He is a great guy and very generous!!

I will start us off. I would like to see him carry “cat eyes” or other similar cap lights for the night fisherman. I would also like to see some digital fish scales up to 100 Lbs (just in case)

Like I said he is off to a great start and I will be doing most of my gearing up at his store.

The person you need to thank is Bob Moore for taking in the catfishing equipment.

It wasnt Brian that got him *into the cat groove*.. not that it really makes a difference. Brian has sole credit for getting him out for his trip of a lifetime… and maybe credit for the supply of stink bait?

However.. it was another unknown IDA’er that talked with him for hours, did endless research for wholesalers, paged through catalogs for hours, familiarized him with desireable products of the catfish world that were in demand that were impossible to find(over the counter) until he carried them.. including finding Moores a couple bullhead suppliers… and introduced IDA to Moores(thanks IDA’ers for showing your support).

Moores does have Cats Eyes clip on lights and also has Rayovac headlamps which are very decent. He also has replacement batteries for the cats eyes.

Thanks Bob for listening to the catfishermen!

My only request(which has already been made) is bringing in some Berkely Big Cat Mono!

Stopped in at Moore’s Friday. I have to say that he has a well organized store. I bought a couple of cat rods. We talked flatheads. And my boy inspected his selection of live bait.

Sorry I didn’t get to this post earlier!

Yup…it was actually ol’ Fisher Dave that introduced BobCAT to catfishing and stocking towards the cat guy!

    Fisher Dave and BobCat..

I use the Rayovac headlamps exclusively as I like the red light feature. Keeps the bugs down…I can see all around me and “eye’s in the darkness” light up! Yet if you need white light or a very small spot light…just turn the knob and it’s there.

Some love the cateye’s style…but you do need to be wearing a hat and you limited to “on/off?

ALTOUGH Dan had a niffty set the other day…turn them on and there was light…turn off/on again and your boat turns into a disco boat!!

If we wouldn’t have been dancing around singing Disco Duck..I would have a video clip to post!

    I stand corrected…

Thanks to EVERYONE who supports Moore’s bait! I was talking to Bob about how hard it is to find big cat gear and how happy I was that he opened up his store, I hope everyone will continue to support him as Im sure you all will.

Thanks for the heads up on the headlamps I think Ill go pick up one of those disco headlamps.
