ONLY? Are you telling us you are the only documented case of someone catching a Flathead, but not the Flathead Fever?

    RatherB & Monica-

    Nice fish

It looks as though we share the same taste in beer. Nothin beats the Champagne of Beers and a couple of nice Flatties to boot

…so if a little cat slime gets on the rim, a high life man knows it’s just lubrication to wash it down. You my friend, are a high life man.

    pug,
I can’t say I have the fever, maybe someday I can attest to some bruises on my arm and wrist trying to land that fish on a 10ft medium light trolling rod oh, yeah – a #5 shad rap

I notice a trend here. Bigfish = long sleeves and goofy pants. I will adapt.

Here’s my biggest Flathead to date… 36 lbs. on 6/1/06.

Here is Tyler’s biggest Channel to date… 7/5/05. Can’t remember the weight.

I know Dave has caught bigger in the past… but I believe this one is his biggest since I’ve known him (10 years). A 42 pounder from last summer.

as a matter of fact…I have a 10 inch Gamakatsu lighted float… It can be seen over 125 YARDS away.

I’ve only had time to fish it once…but it was kinda neat to fish the next snag down the river without moving the boat.
I don’t have pictures on this computer…but I’m working on making a report.

Hey Brian – Here is a picture of the Gami Float in action. They are pretty cool – the bullhead will swim them all over and give them a pretty good bob every few minutes. I haven’t caught anything on it yet but it is fun to watch in the dark. The float is a little hard to see after I resized the picture – it is behind the boat about 40 yards or so. You can see this Gami float from a mile away – they work great.

emover… My monitor is a little dark, but I think what you are holdng there is a really nice channel cat! The tail looks forked and the head looks blocky.
