After arriving at Everts and getting some navagational advice for one of the places I wanted to try. After doing some scouting and eating my picnic supper I was fishing by 7:30. At 8:35 I had my first run which turned out to be 27″ and 12lbs. Started fishing in my 2 spot around 9:30 had a run a wiff some where around 10:45. Moved one last time to what I thought would be the honey hole. But I think I may have had a run. It wasn’t the classic pop in the rod holder, just a steady pull for a few seconds. I gave up at 1:45.
My rusty but trusty 6500’s have seen alittle to much muskie time as one the drag was my thumb and the other didn’t want to engage. So I was probably better of with out any huge fish.
Also a special thanks to Everts, and BrianK

Looks like you have caught the “bug” for catfishing. I wish I could get out more for them, but a few far away lakes and some walleyes are calling me.

Looks like a good night on the water. If you are in the area again, PM me and we can explore a few spots I have been thinking about down Wabasha way.

They are not really calling me as much as they are fearing me

Sounds great, I have a hectic schedual comming up the next couple weeks. But hopfully we can hook-up after that. It will give me time to get some new reels ready.
