Well my Dad and I headed out on pool 2 yesterday and had a great day. We started out catfishin down stream of 494. Fished from 7-8:30am, 3 different spots and got a big fat 0. First time this year getting skunked catfishing 
Switched over to eye’s. Trolling cranks in 6-10 fow, BAM! The walleye’s were on. We ended up with 6 eye’s, 2 sauger, and 2 white bass. Eye’s were 2-20″, 3-21″,1-19″. Saugers were 20″. All these fish were caught trolling upstream around 1.5-1.9 mph. We would drift down stream at the end of our trolling run and get nothing. We tried casting cranks and plastics and got nothing. Start trolling upstream and wham. It was a blast! I will post some pics when I get home from work today. Thanks to my Dad for making this another awesome fishing trip!
I didn’t have any luck downtown St. Paul either.
