I know this happened a little while ago, but I just noticed the ad for Moore’s Bait and Tackle. Good to have a place like that on board! Bob Moore (the owner) is a great guy and has really taken to catering to the cat folks of the Metro area.
I’m not supporting anyone who has been Flathead Fishing for 2 months and goes out with some DUDE ” http://www.idacatguides.com/ ” in a boat and within 3 hours has 3 #8 pound Eye’s and 5 Flatheads with 2 over #30……it just ain’t right…..

Welcome Moores bait in Minneapolis!
For those who dont know where they are located.. they are located 4 blocks north of the Lyndale Ave exit on 35W in south Minneapolis.
I think he has the only *one stop shop* in the state for catfish gear.. rods, reels, big weights and hooks, suckers of all shapes and sizes.. and BULLHEADS most of the time. The prices are VERY reasonable, and most items are cheaper than the major sporting goods stores.
He carries tackle and bait for *those other fish* too.
Thank you Bob Moore for listening to us catfishermen and going out of your way to accomidate us! You have earned me as a customer and will be seeing me regularly for a long time to come!
