    Now there’s a happy man!

Did you take the long way? (following the channel markers) Or the short cut? (straight down river next to the banks)

Gas is expensive and a River Pro can straighten out a run down river by going over wing dams…

Looks like a good night catten!

Sean I owe you a big thanks for the fun trip last night – I had a great time. You picked the best night of the summer. Every time I get to ride in your RiverPro I want one for my own. You were a great guide last night.

Cattin Addict didn’t mention the flurry of runs we had about 11:30. Every rod in the boat was singing but every time we set the hook we had a drop. It was a wild time and actually a lot of fun – you were expecting each run to be a monster. We figured we had some gar in the area and they were messing with our minds. Here is a pic of the little one I caught – we didn’t weigh it but it measured 30″.

Steve, two questions….I’m guessing the jacket wasn’t from being cold?

    And…

    What’s that on your finger!?

Did you scare the crap out of him?

Now that I look closely at the picture I don’t know what that is. He looked pretty normal when we boated him and we didn’t handle him that much so I didn’t see anything strange at the time – we did a quick photo and back he went.

Whatever that is I just went in and washed my hands with some heavy duty Lava soap. I suppose we all end up handling some pretty gross things when fishing in the dark. Looks like that fish has some kind of hernia. Oh well – he is back in the water growing even bigger and prettier.
