I want to go shore fishing for a couple of hours on Wednesday. It’s been a while and all weekend while I was fishing garbagemouth bass I couldn’t stop thinking about Flatheads……especialy when the temp was in the 90s. Seems we quickly made up some ground in the water temp department.

Anyone know if Moore’s is selling bullies?

Not sure if he has bullies yet. I know he does have big suckers.

Thanks for the info. I am pretty sure the number was posted before, but now I don’t have to go looking for it.

Moores tackle didnt have any bullies as of SAT pm. I forgot to ask, actually got sidetracked at all the Cat tackle he’s stocking up with.
I’m off to catch some this evening.
    thanks

I thought I was fishing for bait, but it was hard to tell since I only caught 1 baby bass in a couple of days of fishing.

Has anyone had any luck with the size suckers he stocks? I might have to resort to that. I guess it’s better than nothing, but hard for me to stray from the productivity of bullies.

No bullies in as of yet

There should be some small ones in by the end of the week.

I was using Moores big suckers last Friday and Sat Nigh. I was only getting hits and Runs on the Big Ones. They would occasionally hit a bullhead. No hits on cut bait, creek chubs all sizes or small suckers.
    I’ll recommend his large suckers.
    thanks

Looks like I am staying in tonight, but I might be able to get the little lady to go out Saturday with me. She hasn’t said no to the idea. But it is usually a game time decision with us.

Bout 6″ or so I would guess.
You’re gonna miss me catching the big one tonight. I was just warming up last night.

The crew’s going to be down there, huh? That makes it hard. I have a longer drive now. It used to be 5 minutes, now it’s about 20-30 . Hopefully the little lady is up to it Saturday, but if not, Sunday for sure. It’s been too long.

I hope you guys don’t get rained on, but it looks like you’ll be ok down there.

The bullies at Moores are 6 1/4″ long on the average, nothing over 6 1/2″ that I could find… they would accompany a 6/0-7/0 gamakatsu quite nicely. I believe he is charging $8/dozen which is cheap if you consider the cost of gas, bait, and time it takes to aquire bait!

I am going to have a talk with Mr Moore and see if he will advertise on the site here(helps support the site too ). I dont want to break forum policy but I try to send people his way because he goes out of the way to help out the cat guys!

Sounds good to me and that seems like a very fair price.
