I thought I told you not to let everyone know I still fish for bass! Oh great, they are going to kick me out of the cat club. Ok, I was never in, but now they will actively avoid me.

Dave, how late did you guys stay out? It was looking wicked to the North when I left, but it seemed to fizzle after that passed through. Maybe I should have waited it out?

I left when the weather got crazy (8:45) and I went back down around 10:00.. I didnt bother to look at the clock when I got home, but it was pretty late. It was a nice night after the monsoon cleared out.

    Ryan,
I’m very disapointed in you. I think your just confused, I’ll say a prayer for you.

I’m gonna hit the MN and snag hop in the dark. High water or not it’s calling me.

Yeah, you’re a big talker, Phil. I know you’ll be bass fishing this weekend, just like Dave and Brian will

Good luck to all in their cattin’ (and other) adventures this weekend!

I was out last night also. Twas the first cat hunt for me this year. Caught 3 channels at the end of a eroted wing dam. Same spot I caught a few eyes on earlier Sorry somebodys got to catch the bait

I fished one area first that had mudcat written all over it and spent a half hour without a bump. Decided to go back over to the wingdam and after about 2 minnuts I had my sucker smashed by a channel I hate that so I cut her in half and went back for revenge. Ended up with 3 of the buggers in about 10-15 minnutes just before the rain hit then I had to get out of there. Going back down to some other areas tonight and will let you know how it goes. Good luck this weekend guys

    12:30 am…and here I sit with “cateyes”.

Cateyes is a condition that happens when one has been fishing late night…early mornings and is in the “routine”. When he’s not fishing…he can’t go to sleep until either flathead slime is rubbed on the top portion of wifes jamies…(makes for a great pillow) or 2:30 am arrives. 2:30 is the normal going to bed time.

Hope to see some fishy’s in the morning posted hear!

A little extreme the other way!

I haven’t heard how others did…except for Hanson up on the Red in the Grand Forks area…I think he’s on his second bottle of Advil.

Are they nesting up or just getting ready to? Or maybe not that either, yet?

We’ll see how the weekend goes. Saturday if I can convince the little lady. Otherwise, Sunday for sure, no excuses. I believe the 9th is my one year anniversary of pursuing the “old man of the river”. What time are the runs coming?

I haven’t noticed a specific time. Some before dark, some later, the only pattern I’ve noticed is that I’m not the one getting them

She the one that nailed the 36? Isn’t it weird how, no matter what species of fish, someone always has the hot pole (Before you reply to the last remark, grow up! ). It’s nice to hear the fish are cruising for bullheads in full force now!
