    I have heard that kittens for chipmunks work well for northern and muskie.

    Kittens work fine, its just that it takes quite awhile to inflate them using a crawler inflater.

    If you cut the tail off, it leaves a nice scent trail. Then tie a balloon to the neck so it stays on top and can breathe. Remember, flats prefer live bait.
